Directions for use:
1-Wet the affected area.
2- Squeeze 1 and ½ inches (no less or it won't work) of Zanfel™ into one palm.
3-Wet and rub both hands together for 10 seconds, working the product into a paste (this will activate the ingredients. Do not bypass or modify this step.)
4- Rub both hands (up to 3 minutes if needed) on the affected area, working Zanfel™ into the skin, until there is no sign of itching (15 seconds is typical for mild to moderate reactions.)
5- Rinse area thoroughly. If the itch returns (which could be several hours later) rewash, following steps 1through 5 and read the Q&A insert found in the package.

The 1 oz. tube contains enough Zanfel™ to wash approximately 15 patches the size of an adult hand or face.

Note: Severe reactions (that typically look like leathery burns) will probably require additional washings.
" If symptoms persist, reread the Q&A insert and see a physician
" Do not take internally
" Safe for use by children and pregnant nursing women
" Safe for the face and genitals
" Avoid contact with the eye
" There are no known side effects
" Not recommended for use with rashes not caused by urushoil

Zanfel™ has a 10-year shelf life, can be used anytime after contact or when symptoms occur and is available without a prescription. According to the manufacturer, this product doesn't mask the symptoms but actually removes the urushoil that causes those symptoms.

Conclusion:
This is a 'must have' for anyone who spends time in the outdoors. Although this product wasn't actually tested (for obvious reasons) it is good to know that it is available, especially without a prescription.

There are plenty of testimonials on Zanfel's™ website. Read and judge for yourself. This product seems somewhat pricey but if you consider a trip to the doctor plus a prescription, it's a bargain.

MSRP $29.95

Availability: www.athenabrands.com

Warranty: 90 days

Pros:
" Very comfortable and fits well in the hand
" Light weight
" Easy wind-up
" Handle folds neatly into back of case
" No need for spare batteries or light bulbs

Cons:
" Field testing revealed considerable reduction in light after approximately 15 minutes when using 3 LEDs and about the same using 1 LED.
" Light produced is more of a soft pool of light, not a concentrated beam.
" Poor distance lighting.

Conclusion:
After field testing, it was determined that the Wind N' Go would not be a good replacement for a regular flashlight because the beam is not bright enough or concentrated enough to see well. In a controlled environment such as a tent, car or home or viewing close-up, it was more acceptable. In the field test it was necessary to rewind at least every 15 minutes to provide enough light. At a distance of 15 feet, the Wind N' Go did not illuminate enough to visibly discern objects.

The Wind N' Go light may be helpful in an emergency kit where there is concern about extra batteries, dead batteries or battery leakage.
